This is a taboo topic. It is know a large percent of big videogames companies hire expert psychologists to guarantee the game's success.

This isn't a bad thing per se. They could help to prevent cyberbulling or doxxing against their players, but that isn't usually the case.

They are there to make an additional coin from their users, by designing an addiction. they manage this with bright colors, awards for time played or luck elements like lootboxes.

I think some videogames like FIFA or CS should have the same laws that apply for casinos, therefore, ensure only adults could play them.
